He spoke out to exhort the GOP to stop creating tax breaks for the wealthy at the expense of the country: “I support higher taxes on people like me,” saying he was more than willing to pay more taxes.
Jeff Flake called out Donny Jr. over a tweet mocking Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser: “This is sickening.” Former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh was even more pointed: “I think we all can agree that @DonaldJTrumpJr is an uncaring, narrow-minded idiot.” Even Maine Senator Susan Collins is “appalled” by the tweet—Collins has so far not indicated her support for Kavanaugh has wavered, but perhaps this will turn the tide.
