After threatening to unconstitutionally delay the next census indefinitely because of the Supreme Court ruling against Don John adding a citizenship question, the question’s engineer, Wilbur Ross, announced that the government had dropped plans to add the question. The very next day, Donald called the report of his own flip-flop “FAKE NEWS” and said he is “absolutely moving forward” with adding the question, announcing that he will attempt to circumvent the Constitution through executive order—but a federal judge in Maryland is allowing a suit to move forward that alleges that the question is intended to discriminate against immigrant communities of color. Donald’s billionaire crony Jeffrey Epstein, whom Don John has praised for his predilection for younger women, was arrested on charges of sex trafficking of minors.
Meanwhile a federal judge blocked Don John’s policy and William Barr’s order of indefinite detention for asylum seekers without bail.
A federal judge also temporarily blocked Ohio’s “heartbeat” abortion ban, which could have blocked abortions as early as five or six weeks, subsequent to an ACLU lawsuit.
Yet another federal judge blocked Trump from using $2.5 billion in military funding to build a wall at the southern border
DHS is investigating a secret Facebook group for border patrol agents that was recently revealed to be riddled with racist and sexist comments and memes, and jokes about migrant deaths. Reports indicate that Border Patrol has known about the group for years; whether it monitored the comments and posts is unclear at this point.
