ALL WEEK: Call Your MoC’s and Ask Them to Support an Independent and Complete Investigation Into Trump’s Ties with Russia
The American people demand – and deserve – the truth. Congress must create an independent commission to #FollowTheFacts on Russia. pic.twitter.com/aa3SmJ7pRI

Despite calls for an independent investigation lead by an independent prosecutor the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), insists on holding hearings in secret, behind closed doors. Call your MoC’s and tell them that this issue is too important to be hidden from the full view of the American people and to take the investigation out of the hands of partisan Members of Congress.

All Day: Ask Your HOUSE REP to Support the Release of Trump’s Tax Returns
Ask your MoC to co-sponsor H.Res.186, which directs the Secretary of the Treasury to provide to the House of Representatives the tax returns and other specified financial information of President Donald J. Trump.
The bill was introduced by Rep. Pascrell on March 9, 2017 and is currently before the House Committee on Ways and Means. A mark-up of the resolution is scheduled for 4:00pm on Tuesday, March 28th.
Texas Representatives on the House Ways and Means Committee
- Kevin Brady
- Sam Johnson (R)
- Kenny Marchant (R)
- Lloyd Doggett (D)

All day. Call HOUSE REPS and tell them to protect our internet privacy by voting NO on S.J. Res. 34
This bill rolls back Obama-era Federal Communications Commission protections and allow broadband internet service providers like Comcast and Verizon to sell your sensitive internet activity data (including location and web browsing data) to the highest bidder.

All day. Call SENATORS to say NO VOTE on Gorsuch until there is an independent and complete investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia
Supreme Court justices are appointed for life. We can afford to wait a few months for the FBI to complete its investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia. Republicans did not allow Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland to even have a hearing. Now we are deep in the confirmation process of a nominee from a president who the FBI may reveal is illegitimate. Tell Senators that the confirmation process must stop until we know what’s going on.

All day. Call SENATORS and ask them to support the Presidential Tax Transparency Act
Donald Trump must fully release all of his recent tax returns to prove he is working for the American people, instead of getting rich from foreign governments and shady deals. Since 1980, every major party nominee has voluntarily released their tax returns. The recently-leaked two-page summary of his 2005 returns are not enough, and raise more questions than answers.

All day. Call MoCs and demand that Devin Nunes step down as House Intelligence chair
Devin Nunes cannot be trusted to lead an investigation into Russian meddling with the elections when his allegiances are clearly with the White House and the Trump campaign. This call is especially important if your representative is on the House Intelligence committee.
Texas members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence:
- Mike Conaway (R)
- Will Hurd (R)
- Joaquin Castro (D)

All day. (Repeat from Tuesday — it’s that important!) Call SENATORS to say NO VOTE on Gorsuch until there is an independent and complete investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia

And one more to end your week…
Today we’re borrowing from Indivisible TX Lege and asking you to call your TEXAS HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE in support of House Bill 4260, which would fine men $100 for masturbating and require that they read a booklet about “men’s health” procedures like vasectomies and colonoscopies.
Yes, you read that correctly.
