New to the Indivisible movement? Ready to #Resist Trump but aren’t sure how to get started?
Join this basic training on what Indivisible is all about. You’ll learn:
- How to adopt Tea Party tactics for progressive change
- How we use Austin’s six gerrymandered congressional districts to our advantage
- How we have been successful in blocking the worst of Trump’s policies
Feel free to pack a lunch!
Today is May 8th. I signed up for this class last week, but it is not included on the list of Indivisible events forthis week on another email. Two weeks ago I went to a a class I had signed up for that got rescheduled and I id not find out until getting to the original location.
Since this class for noon tomorrow is no longer on on the “this week for Indivisible ” list,. should I bother driving in rush hour traffic from South Austin to the UU church or not? I don’t want to get burned again with unreliable info since I can only get to the internet at the library and cannot do that every day, but only a few times a week.
Hi Dorothy,
This class is JUNE 9th (not May 9th) and we will be there!
Thank you!
I look forward to meeting everyone on June 9th. This will be my first attendance with Indivisible and I am exhilarated. PEACE !
We’re looking forward to it too, thank you!
I will not be able to get there until about 12:45. So I’ll basically miss the meeting. Will anyone be taking notes or be able to provide a summary of the meeting on the website? That would be awesome, because I absolutely want to be more effective in my mission to resist this administration. If not, I’ll guess I’ll just have to catch the next one.
We’re planning to do these about once a month, so don’t worry, there will be more. Also be sure to look up your congressional district and connect with one of the Indivisible groups for that district. indivisibleaustin.com/find
