All Day. Call SENATORS and HOUSE REPS and ask them not to repeal the ACA. Despite not having a plan for a replacement, Congressional Republicans plan to go ahead with ACA repeal, and many are pushing for a faster timeline. We have loads of resources on the ACA here.
All Day: RSVP for the Cover Texas Now Rally to Protect Health Care + Lobby Visits
Indivisible Austin is proud to partner with the Cover Texas Now coalition in the fight to #ProtectOurCare.
On March 6, rally with health care activists from across the state of Texas to PROTECT, DEFEND and EXPAND HEALTH CARE for children, women, Texans with disabilities, and all uninsured and underinsured Texans. You’ll also get to meet with state lawmakers in the afternoon during lobby visits. RSVP is required to join the lobby visits.

On January 27, 2017, President Trump signed an executive order (EO) titled “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.” As promised during his campaign, Trump issued the EO to discriminate against Muslims and refugees. His unconstitutional order, which is being temporarily blocked by the courts, harms immigrant families in the US and our international standing, and threatens our national security.
Ask your Senator to support S.274 and your Representative to support the SOLVE Act to nullify and defund the ban.
