The billionaire who created the National Debt Clock is disgusted with Donald and the GOP’s running up of our national debt by more than $1.5 trillion in the last year alone. He spoke out to exhort the GOP to stop creating tax breaks for the wealthy at the expense of the country: “I support higher taxes on people like me,” saying he was more than willing to pay more taxes.
Republicans Reconsidering
Jeff Flake called out Donny Jr. over a tweet mocking Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser: “This is sickening.” Former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh was even more pointed: “I think we all can agree that @DonaldJTrumpJr is an uncaring, narrow-minded idiot.” Even Maine Senator Susan Collins is “appalled” by the tweet—Collins has so far not indicated her support for Kavanaugh has wavered, but perhaps this will turn the tide.
Meanwhile an adviser to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley—who is overseeing the Supreme Court confirmation process for accused sexual abuser Brett Kavanaugh—just resigned after being accused of sexual harassment.

Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao racked up nearly $100K in a bill to taxpayers by flying on Federal Aviation Administration planes instead of commercial flights on seven occasions in 2017, costing taxpayers almost $100,000. One set of flights by Chao and her staff cost an estimated $68,892.
